Mind-blowing Malay Halal Food At Muslim Mosque Petaling Jaya Malaysia

Malaysia is a Muslim country, so you can see a mosque in any neighborhood you live in. I can’t go into the mosque to pray because I’m a non-Muslim, but what gives me particular joy is being able to have a delicious meal at the mosque. In particular, the Malay Muslim food, which starts around 11 am, is the best place for me because it is very diverse and rich in flavor you can taste the unique colors of Malay food. The price usually does not exceed RM10 if you choose one kind of meat and two or three kinds of vegetables together.

Since the majority of local Malays eat their food with their hands, a hand-washing sink is placed at the entrance. However, I use a fork and spoon to eat, even though I wash my hands. I don’t usually eat with my hands other than when I’m having Indian food. This is partly because whenever I eat a lot of sauce with my hands, I tend to get it all over my face and I end up spilling more than I eat, which can often be a quite frustrating experience as I am unable to enjoy my food properly.

Check out these mouth watering, nutritious Malay dishes! It’s impossible for me to eat Malay food without a huge smile on my face from start to finish.

Lunch with my Indian and Vietnamese friends I went with here. They said that they had been there for the first time at the mosque restaurant because of me, and that they could not understand why they had never known such delicious food until now.

To be honest, I often think that I don’t know why many people do not try to find and eat good and delicious food from other cultures than their own food culture, and are afraid and avoid it from the beginning.
As I write this, looking at the photos, my mouth starts to salivate even when I am already full with my dinner that I just finished. Anyway I am going to visit here again very soon.
